Description
The Patient Service Representative works with other PSRs, Finance, and Practice Administrators to support patient flow in a health center. Responsibilities include customer service, appointment scheduling, check-in and check-out, collecting co-payments, sliding fees, and outstanding balances, assisting patients with insurance and payment responsibilities, answering phones, and directing inquiries. The role requires a degree or certification in office studies, business administration, or a related field, or relevant experience; strong communication, medical and dental terminology, typing, computer, attention-to-detail, problem-resolution, adaptability, and proactive skills.
