Description
The Patient Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients entering an outpatient medical facility. Responsibilities include checking patients in, verifying information, scheduling appointments, updating electronic health records, completing healthcare and insurance forms, collecting payments, answering phones, maintaining documentation, and protecting patient privacy. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent education/experience, one year of recent relevant experience, basic insurance and billing knowledge, communication and organizational skills, and general computer proficiency. It is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position with a Monday-Friday day shift and weekly pay of $30.63 to $42.88 per hour.
