Description
This role is responsible for safely transporting passengers in a van between pickup and delivery sites, including assisting with one-person transfers, securing wheelchairs and seat belts, following routes and schedules, maintaining route narratives, and providing oxygen support as directed by clinical staff. The position also involves handling medications, DME, and supplies with proper chain of custody, administering first aid and CPR in emergencies, documenting incidents and passenger logs, inspecting and maintaining vehicles, and supporting additional departmental errands and transport needs.
