Description
The Pattern Maker / Casting Pattern Maker prepares, modifies, and finishes casting patterns and casting methods from engineering or sales assignments and technical documentation. The role involves analyzing assignments, gathering materials, making pattern modifications, manufacturing and inspecting casting methods, ensuring high-quality finishes, and coordinating with engineering, sales, and logistics. The position also includes administrative follow-up, workplace organization, and collaboration with colleagues. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Candidates should be able to interpret technical assignments and working drawings, work accurately with an eye for quality, and have technical insight and an affinity for woodworking or model making; woodworking machinery experience is an advantage.
