Gusto is hiring a Payment Operations Analyst to own end-to-end payment workflows, investigate and resolve exceptions, coordinate responses to payment outages, and improve payment systems. The role partners with Engineering, Product, Accounting, Risk, Customer Experience, banks, and payment processors, while using AI to analyze data, draft communications, and automate repetitive work. Candidates need at least three years of experience in payment, banking, treasury, or a related fintech or financial institution role, along with knowledge of payment rails, reconciliation tools, data analysis, and clear cross-functional communication. The role is available in Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and other remote locations, with hybrid office expectations in the named cities.
