Plaid is hiring a Payment Risk Strategist to work with Signal and Guarantee customers on risk decisioning. The role interprets model outputs, diagnoses authorization and return-rate performance, recommends threshold and rules changes, owns customer proofs of concept and retros, improves reporting and integrations, and translates recurring insights into onboarding playbooks and product requirements. The position requires 5–10 years of experience, SQL, quantitative model analysis, customer-facing consulting, and cross-functional collaboration.
