Sommerfeld is hiring a Payroll Specialist to support and eventually independently manage monthly payroll, maintain employee and payroll data, handle new hires and departures, support social security and wage tax matters, communicate with insurance and government authorities, administer the employee portal, prepare reports, and improve payroll workflows. The role requires completed commercial training, payroll or compensation accounting experience, knowledge of wage tax and social security, and familiarity with Sage or comparable payroll or employee systems; it is a permanent full-time position with professional development and wellness benefits.
