Description
The Payroll Compliance Specialist oversees payroll processing for assigned pay groups, reports wages, taxes, and benefits, responds to IRS and state agency inquiries, reconciles quarters and W-2s, prepares workers’ compensation audit reports, audits temporary-agency payroll, and monitors California wage-and-hour compliance. The role also trains managers in Dayforce, handles garnishments, verifies holiday-pay schedules, reviews year-end entitlement balances, and coordinates with HR and Dayforce support. It requires a four-year college degree in accounting or related experience with a high school diploma, at least five years of payroll experience, strong Excel and communication skills, and Ceridian Dayforce experience.
