Description
The University Payroll Administrator serves as the primary administrator of the university’s semi-monthly and supplemental payrolls, coordinating payroll staff and ensuring timely, accurate production in compliance with accounting, governmental, and university requirements. The role oversees payroll calculations, W-2 processing, ACH deposits, payroll adjustments, HRS system maintenance, fiscal closeout, labor redistribution, and payroll-related reporting. It also supports the Director of Payroll Services, provides training, and may supervise student employees. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, three years of payroll or benefit-processing experience, and three years of personnel or payroll automated-system experience; Banner experience and supervisory experience are preferred.
