Payroll Supervisor at Seaspan

The Payroll Supervisor leads Seaspan Shipyards’ unionized payroll team, overseeing full-cycle bi-weekly payroll processing, reconciliations, remittances, reporting, compliance, audits, and year-end activities. The role provides leadership, coaching, and performance support to Payroll Clerks and Timekeepers, interprets collective agreements and legislation, supports payroll system enhancements, and serves as a backup to the Payroll Manager. It is a full-time permanent position with an optional hybrid schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding, and offers a base salary of $112,500 to $137,500 plus health, dental, vision, pension, and other benefits.
