Description
The Home Care Direct Support Professional provides in-home support to clients, including personal care, meal preparation, transportation, medical monitoring, documentation, and assistance with activities of daily living. The role also includes supervising and training direct support staff, maintaining schedules and records, and supporting client-centered care plans. A high school diploma or equivalent, age 21 or older, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible schedules including overnight assignments are required; prior experience with seniors or adults with special needs, CPR and First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license are preferred or required depending on driving duties.
