Description
SpaceX is hiring a PCB Designer for its Starshield program to create and optimize printed circuit board layouts across digital, analog, RF, and power-conversion designs. The role includes determining stackups, selecting packages, placing and routing components, maintaining ECAD libraries, preparing fabrication documentation, collaborating with engineers and vendors on manufacturability and test guidelines, and evaluating and training others on PCB design tools. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent PCB layout experience, at least one year of PCB layout experience, and preferably experience with Mentor Xpedition or Altium Designer, mixed-signal and high-speed designs, FPGA/DRAM/CPU boards, power supplies, industry standards, scripting, and security clearances.
