Description
OpenAI is hiring a PCB Layout Engineer to design high-density electronics for next-generation robotic systems. The role owns PCB layout from floor planning through fabrication release, including component placement, routing, SI/PI refinement, high-speed and power distribution, EMI/EMC, thermal, and mechanical-integration requirements. The engineer will coordinate with fabricators and assembly partners, prepare manufacturing documentation, inspect PCBAs, and support board-level failure analysis and reusable design workflows. The position is based in San Francisco and requires in-person presence four days per week.
