Description
Legato, LLC is hiring a full-time PCB Layout Hardware Engineer in Fort Meade, Maryland. The role designs, tests, documents, and develops firmware for integrated circuits and programmable hardware, including ASIC and FPGA projects; performs reverse engineering; adapts vendor hardware; and supports physical design, place-and-route implementation, tool and library integration, and design reliability. The position requires 7–12+ years of integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse-engineering experience, PCB and HDI design experience, schematic-capture experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with five years of additional experience potentially substituting for the degree. Compensation is $220,000–$280,000, with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph requirement, and benefits include health, vision, dental, paid time off, federal holidays, and a 401(k) employer match.
