Description
Arista Networks is seeking a PCIe Software Engineer for its Platform team, which builds networking ASICs and supporting infrastructure. The role involves bringing up PCIe links, tuning root ports, bridges, and endpoints, modifying Linux PCI drivers and virtual memory, improving error visibility through AER and DPC, developing userspace software for networking ASICs, FPGAs, and PCIe bridges, measuring hardware performance, and creating automated tests in C, C++, and Python. The position requires strong computer science fundamentals, at least three years of C or C++ fluency, PCIe hardware and software driver knowledge, experience with PCIe switches, and hands-on low-level firmware troubleshooting.
