The Patient Care Representative serves as the primary contact for patients at Lutcher Inpatient Behavioral Hospital, managing appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, referrals, inquiries, records, billing support, and coordination with clinical and administrative staff. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, healthcare or customer service experience, basic medical terminology and insurance knowledge, computer and EHR proficiency, and strong communication skills; healthcare administration education, EHR platform experience, bilingual ability, HIPAA familiarity, and stress-management skills are preferred.
