Description
The role provides comprehensive assessment, monitoring, treatment, teaching, and coordination of care for pediatric, geriatric, and general adult patients in critical-care settings, including the SCU and PACU. Responsibilities include hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring, ACLS and PALS-based dysrhythmia treatment, fluid and electrolyte management, interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and patient-family support. The position requires current Florida registered nurse licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS and PALS certification within one year; recent critical-care experience and critical-care orientation are preferred.
