Description
The Seat Complete Engineer leads the development, design, verification, integration, and industrialization of vehicle seat systems and components from early concept through launch. The role manages quality, weight, cost, and timing; coordinates with suppliers, program, safety, manufacturing, and other engineering areas; and ensures compliance with design specifications, federal regulations, and export-market requirements. It requires an engineering degree, product-development and parts-verification experience, knowledge of automotive engineering systems and FMEA, CAD and graphical communication skills, and occasional travel to Dearborn, supplier sites, and Ford assembly plants.
