Description
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is hiring an Automation Engineer to own the planning, design, development, testing, and commissioning of power-system automation projects. The role covers real-time controller and RTU configuration, IEC-61850, DNP, and Modbus communication, SCADA and HMI applications, control logic, network architecture, electrical schematics, factory and field testing, safety procedures, and customer technical leadership. Candidates may be at Associate or Engineering I level, must be willing to travel at least 20% domestically and abroad, and the position is available in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, or Hanover, Maryland. The salary range is $90,000 to $120,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
