Description
The Pediatrician provides comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, including physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, medication prescribing, vaccinations, preventive care, growth and development monitoring, and parent education. The role requires collaboration with nurses, specialists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, accurate medical documentation, and participation in community outreach and health education. Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, a state medical license, board certification or eligibility, pediatric residency training, and at least three years of pediatrician experience; bilingual English-Spanish ability is required. The position pays $230,000 to $245,000 annually and may require travel to multiple UCHC facilities.
