Description
The Dental Hygiene Assistant will support a dental hygienist in a dental practice by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with oral exams and cleanings, taking and developing dental x-rays, sterilizing instruments and equipment, educating patients, managing records, scheduling appointments, and handling basic administrative tasks. The role requires 1–3 years of experience as a Dental Hygiene Assistant or Dental Assistant, a high school diploma or equivalent, and may require X-ray certification depending on state requirements.
