Wayside is hiring a Peer Mentor in Waltham to support young adults with mental health concerns through activity-based and support groups, one-on-one recovery-based support, skill building, and policy advocacy. The role requires lived experience managing mental health, emotional health, or trauma, willingness to share a recovery story, strong communication and risk-management skills, and reliable driving. It is available full or part time, pays $20.50–$24.00 per hour depending on experience and certification, and includes a sign-on bonus and training in peer-support and trauma-informed practices.
