ACMH Inc. is hiring a full-time Peer Program & Support Specialist in New York, NY to provide direct in-home support to clients with daily living skills while also mentoring and supporting peer staff. The role includes teaching hygiene, household management, budgeting, meal planning, safety, medication self-administration, and travel skills; documenting services; facilitating groups; and promoting recovery-oriented, self-advocacy-focused support for people with mental health, substance use, or housing-related service experience. The position requires lived experience with behavioral health, substance, or homeless services, New York Certified Peer Program certification, and strong communication plus basic computer skills.
