Description
Peer Recovery Support Specialists provide individualized, recovery-focused support services to high-risk adults with serious mental illnesses, substance abuse, or medically comorbid diagnoses. They aim to empower individuals to develop natural supports, coping skills, and other abilities necessary for independent living in the community. This role operates under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
