CASES is hiring a full-time Peer Specialist to support justice-involved adults with serious mental illness through recovery-oriented, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive services. The role builds client relationships, helps navigate behavioral health, medical, criminal justice, shelter, entitlement, and transportation systems, completes progress notes and assessments, and coordinates with hospitals, shelters, jails, primary care, and other stakeholders. The position is based in New York City, offers flexible partial-remote work, and pays $51,500-$53,045 per year.
