The Peer Support Specialist will work under the guidance of the Prince George's County Department of Corrections and the Rebirth Substance Use Treatment (RSUT) Program Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include establishing treatment plans, providing coaching and emotional support, connecting clients with resources like housing and employment, managing appointments with healthcare professionals, reporting concerns, assisting with accreditation preparation, writing recovery reviews, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. The specialist must adhere to ethical guidelines and cooperate with assigned tasks.
