Description
The Peer Support Specialist provides peer support, information, and advocacy to individuals with serious and persistent illnesses, helping them regain control, recover, and integrate into the community. The role engages with patients hospitalized at UHS Hospitals and is based in the UHS Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. It is a day-shift position requiring 40 regular scheduled weekly hours, a high school diploma or equivalent, and Peer Support Specialist Certification within 24 months of hire.
