Cedar Wellness Center is hiring a Peer Support Specialist in Tacoma, Washington, reporting to the Clinic Director. The role supports patients with substance use disorders in a tribal outpatient treatment setting through peer services, referrals, resource coordination, transportation support, housing referrals, care coordination, admission functions, and patient advocacy. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Washington Peer Support Specialist certification, one year of office or professional experience, health and TB clearance, a valid driver’s license, and successful background screening. It involves office and clinical work, occasional community travel, and possible evening or weekend availability.
