Texas Panhandle Centers is hiring a full-time Peer Support Specialist for its Amarillo, Texas COPSD program. The role provides face-to-face and telehealth peer wellness and recovery support to justice-involved individuals, advocates for their needs and rights, models healthy coping and recovery skills, and collaborates with staff and community stakeholders. The position pays $15.66 per hour, requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant recovery or mental-health experience, background clearances, a valid Texas driver’s license, and flexible scheduling, and offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
