Description
Axiom Care is hiring a Peer Support Specialist, also described in the duties as an Outpatient Program Assistant, to provide recovery-oriented peer support and help operate the front desk of an outpatient behavioral health clinic. The role greets and checks in clients, helps them find groups and appointments, answers phones and routine questions, uses clinic computer systems while protecting confidentiality, documents interactions and incidents, redirects unsafe or disruptive behavior using trauma-informed communication, de-escalates conflicts, and communicates concerns to clinical staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a Peer Support Certificate.
