Description
The Peer Support Specialist will serve as an active member of a substance use disorder treatment team in Breathitt County, Kentucky. Responsibilities include participating in treatment planning, coordinating recovery plans, providing education and follow-up, sharing recovery experiences, teaching coping strategies, advocating for clients, and reporting concerns to supervisors and treatment-team members. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and requires a high school diploma or GED.
