PennDOT is hiring a full-time CDL Operator Trainee in Bucks County to receive hands-on training operating heavy trucks, loaders, and other construction equipment while supporting highway and bridge maintenance crews. The role includes equipment operation, manual and motorized tool use, safety procedures, hazard reporting, environmental practices, and required travel, overtime, and shift work. Applicants must hold an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent, an active Class A or B commercial driver's learner's permit, and a Medical Examiner's Certificate on the first day of work. The position pays a starting annual salary of $42,347.00 before taxes for new Commonwealth employees.
