Description
PennDOT is hiring a full-time CDL Operator Trainee to learn highway and bridge maintenance procedures and safely operate heavy trucks, loaders, and related equipment. The role includes tool use, safety and environmental compliance, equipment certification, and outdoor work with a supportive team. Applicants must have an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent, an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit at application time, and a Medical Examiner's Certificate by the first day of work. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with travel, overtime, and shift work required; telework is not available.
