Description
PennDOT is hiring a full-time CDL Operator to support highway and bridge maintenance operations. The role involves operating trucks, loaders, and other maintenance equipment; maintaining CDL requirements; flagging traffic; performing manual labor such as clearing culverts and repairing guiderails; caring for equipment; and following safety procedures. The position requires transportation equipment operator training or commercial driver's license training, an active Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL with the Air Brake Restriction removed, a medical examiner's certificate, and an active Tank Vehicle Endorsement. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with seasonal shifts, and telework is not available. New Pennsylvania employees start at an annual salary of $45,888.00 before taxes.
