Description
The Pentest / Retest Operator executes approved penetration tests and remediation retests across internal, external, web, API, and infrastructure environments under the supervision of the Team Manager. The role performs reconnaissance, enumeration, vulnerability validation, controlled exploitation, segmentation testing, application-security validation, URL/software and gold-image security checks, and produces reproducible technical evidence for IT, GRC, developers, and auditors. It also contributes to playbooks and procedures while not owning risk acceptance, final report approval, or security architecture decisions.
