Description
The PEO Underwriter evaluates, prices, and manages risk for new and renewing PEO groups in a co-employment model. The role reviews submissions, validates census and carrier data, analyzes claims and loss trends, develops pricing recommendations, and prepares underwriting rationale. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytical field, 1–3 years of experience in health insurance underwriting, benefits administration, actuarial support, or a related analytical role, strong data and Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with brokers, compliance, benefits operations, implementation, and payroll teams.
