Description

Apple is hiring a People Analytics Engineer to build and operate end-to-end analytics products for the employee lifecycle. The role covers Snowflake data modeling, Python backends and APIs, ETL and data-refresh pipelines, Linux infrastructure, container deployment, dashboard development, metric definition, data security, and agentic AI-assisted delivery. The engineer will own analytics solutions, partner with People Analytics and technology teams, and provide data insights to senior business leaders.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Deep SQL and Snowflake experience, including schema design, query optimization, and ETL pipelines
Python experience with backend web services, APIs, and data-processing automation
Hands-on Linux server operation, including SSH, reverse proxies, and troubleshooting
Container image build and deployment experience
Daily production experience with agentic AI coding tools
Experience validating data and system behavior against live systems
Experience developing analytics products, reports, and dashboards
Experience handling sensitive employee data under row-level security and data-access restrictions
Experience owning end-to-end delivery with minimal direction
Experience delivering under competing deadlines and shifting priorities
Experience partnering across different global regions
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
Familiarity with Flask or FastAPI
Experience with NumPy, pandas, and data science techniques
Experience with AI tooling services such as MCP servers
Experience with centrally owned data-platform pipeline changes
Experience agreeing on consistent metric definitions across reporting surfaces
Experience working directly with senior business leaders
