Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides direct patient care to adults and children with communication, swallowing, voice, neurological, and other speech and language disorders. The role includes diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning and implementation, interdisciplinary consultation, documentation, family and patient counseling, remedial programming, and training of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants. The position also supports department policies, protocols, and in-service programs while maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare requirements.
