Neros is hiring a Perception Lead to own the detection, recognition, and image-space target-tracking software across its unmanned aircraft platforms. The role leads a small perception engineering team, sets technical direction for transitioning from classical computer vision to learned models, defines perception output contracts and operating points, and deploys optimized perception software to constrained onboard compute. Candidates need at least six years of production computer vision or perception software experience, including two years leading a team or technical program, along with expertise in C++, Python, classical and learned perception, embedded neural-network deployment, EO/IR imaging, and perception evaluation. The role offers a US base salary of $201,000–$281,000 plus competitive equity.
