Description

Qualcomm is hiring an ARMv9 Server Performance Engineer to own end-to-end benchmarking, regression tracking, system-level performance analysis, and optimization across cloud and enterprise platforms. The role works across hardware, firmware, operating system, and software layers, using tools such as SPEC CPU, perf, VTune, and Linux tuning techniques to identify bottlenecks, automate performance regression detection, and validate workloads for hyperscalers, Kubernetes, and enterprise customers.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of experience in performance engineering, system software, or related roles
Hands-on experience running and analyzing CPU server workloads with SPEC CPU, SPECrate, and SPECjbb
Experience with performance tools such as perf, VTune, or equivalent
Exposure to Linux performance tuning and basic statistical analysis
Preferred Qualifications: Analytical and data-driven problem-solving mindset
Ability to explain performance trends using metrics
