Description
The Performance Manager oversees front-of-house operations for open rehearsals, performances, and events at the Metropolitan Opera House. The role manages and coaches full-time, part-time, union, and non-union staff; resolves guest, staff, and operational issues; supports training, safety, accessibility, emergency procedures, and service standards; coordinates with external partners; and prepares incident reports and payroll reviews. The position requires three to five years of experience in a cultural, entertainment, hospitality, or sports venue, F-03 and F-04 certifications, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a high-volume live-performance environment. The salary is $60,000 to $70,000 per year.
