Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Northwell Health, is seeking a Perfusionist for Cardiac Perfusion Services in Poughkeepsie, New York. The role provides and manages extracorporeal circulation and cardiopulmonary support during surgical care, including circulatory assistance, blood conservation, myocardial preservation, anticoagulation and physiologic monitoring, temperature management, hemofiltration, and administration of medications and blood products through the extracorporeal circuit. The perfusionist also documents care, maintains equipment and inventories, supports patient-care education, and is expected to have a bachelor's degree, accredited cardiovascular perfusion training, three years of experience, Certified Clinical Perfusionist credentials, and New York licensure.
