CEA is hiring a permanent C++ Developer for Nuclear Data Processing and Monte Carlo Codes in Saclay, France. The role develops numerical simulation tools for neutron physics, including the TRIPOLI-5 Monte Carlo code, TRIPOLI-4, and the GALILEE-1 nuclear data processing code. Responsibilities include implementing particle tracking, variance-reduction methods, multiphysics coupling, charged-particle transport, data-library generation, and unresolved-resonance processing, while contributing to R&D, technical publications, and collaborations. The position requires a doctorate in reactor physics, computer science, or numerical simulation, one to two years of professional experience, and excellent C++ skills; Python knowledge is useful.
