The Ohio Department of Transportation is hiring a permanent, full-time Highway Maintenance Worker 1 or Highway Technician 1 in Greene County. The role serves the public by maintaining safer roads and includes flagging, pothole patching, guardrail repair, litter pickup, mowing, and snow and ice operations. Candidates may need to obtain CDL licensure, and the position requires formal arithmetic education, English-language ability, and a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with a tanker endorsement without an airbrake restriction for the Highway Maintenance Worker 1 classification, or three months of training or experience in basic equipment operation for the Highway Technician 1 classification.
