Description
The Municipality of Anchorage is hiring an Engineering Technician I for its Water & Wastewater Utility. The role is based at 3000 Arctic Boulevard, works Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and may offer telecommuting after successful probation. Responsibilities include coordinating field service, scheduling inspections and 811 locates, reviewing engineered plans, issuing utility permits, processing payments, inspecting mobile meters, creating service orders, supporting account setup, and assisting with the Cross-Connection Control Program. Applicants must meet one of two qualification paths involving a high school diploma or associate’s degree plus relevant experience, including at least one year at the Engineering Technician I level, and must pass a background check.
