Description
The Port of Dover is hiring a Permit to Work (PTW) Lead to develop, manage, and continuously improve its Authorisation to Work and Permit to Work systems across the Port estate. Reporting to the leadership team, the role leads two Technical Clerks, governs construction, maintenance and engineering activities, approves risk-based work, manages electronic permit systems, leads audits and incident investigations, and drives compliance, training, stakeholder support and operational improvements. The position requires experience in construction, engineering, maintenance, infrastructure or safe systems of work, a full UK driving licence, and access to a vehicle; it offers a salary of £31,000 and closes on 16 October 2026 at 5pm.
