Description
AES is hiring a Permitting Project Manager to lead permitting and environmental development for renewable energy, powered land, natural gas generation, data center, and related energy infrastructure projects across the MISO, SPP, and ERCOT regions. The role covers site screening, air, wastewater, land-use, and other regulatory permitting; environmental due diligence; consultant and budget management; agency coordination; permit condition negotiation; and handoff support for construction and operations. The position is primarily remote with periodic travel and requires a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant environmental or planning discipline and typically 4–8 years of progressively responsible experience.
