Description
The Certified Personal Care Aide provides essential personal care and supportive services to clients in their homes under the supervision of a registered nurse or other licensed healthcare professional. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulation, transfers, light meals, feeding, light housekeeping, reporting changes in client condition, maintaining a safe environment, following infection-control and safety policies, and completing documentation. The role requires valid New York State PCA certification, active and good-standing registration on the NYS Home Care Registry, English communication ability, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.
