Description
AltaMed seeks a Personal Care Attendant I to support PACE participants and frail elderly or disabled patients across care-delivery settings. The role includes coordinating and preparing food services, supporting center activities, delivering recreational and other participant programs, meeting participants' physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs, and accompanying participants to outside specialty appointments. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a California Food Handler Certificate, at least one year of experience with frail elderly or disabled populations, bilingual language skills, and current BLS certification or higher. Compensation is $25 per hour, with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
