Description
The Personal Care Partner provides person-centered, preventative, restorative, and hands-on care to residents in a fast-paced health-care setting. Responsibilities include building relationships with residents and families, supporting residents to do as much for themselves as possible, promoting leisure activities, assisting with meals, laundry, showering, vital signs, and other care needs, documenting changes or concerns, and following safety and infection-control procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of related health-care experience or training, CPR/Basic Life Support certification, and a criminal records check; National Caregiver Certification Course training is welcomed but not required. Shift differentials are $2.75 per hour for the second shift, $3.50 per hour for the third shift, and $2.00 per hour for weekends.
